What is digitisation?
‘The conversion of text, pictures, or sound into a digital form that can be processed by a computer. For example the digitisation of the rare map collection at the library’. Oxford English Dictionary

What duties are required for this role?
Employees are required to capture (scan, photograph e.g.) and process multiple images from books and manuscripts of historic value. These captured images are then indexed, enhanced and returned to our client. You will be part of a wider team all working as part of a process. You will be required to rotate amongst all roles within this team.

Full training will be given on induction and ongoing support will be provided.

Filling in our forms - we have both online and on paper forms, as required.


Holiday – 28 days: including bank holidays 8 days and – 4 extra days over Christmas = 16 days to take whenever

Dress code – Smart Casual (jeans and a t-shirt are acceptable, occasionally you will be asked to dress smarter for certain events).
