Following the initial digitisation of assets, we are often asked to help our customers unlock the maximum value from the digitised material. More often than not these requests focus on how to extract, enhance and create a database for the rich information contained within the digital image files.
This transformation is achieved through a range of post-digitisation processes and techniques. These include: transcription, automated data extraction, structuring of unstructured data, optical character recognition (OCR), georeferencing and feature extraction, building information modeling (BIM), 360 degree object photography, 360 degree virtual tours and digital page-turning.
We also provide hosted, online platforms to visualise and disseminate the extracted, structured data. Typically this is either a bespoke web site or an instance of our archive management service, DRYAD.
