Max offer Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for printed material and where appropriate AI driven hand writing recognition software. OCR can achieve upwards of 99% accuracy for clearly printed text, but for most handwritten content Max's on and off shore transcription teams can provide far greater accuracy and deal with far more diverse styles.

Transcription
Automated transcription for cleanly printed material gives excellent results. For handwritten material artificial intelligent neural networks require a few hundred pages of the same hand and a human invigilator to learn one individual's script. Max have browser based tools to allow multiple users to transcribe, edit and correct material online.
Max also have a unique tool to embed the transcribed handwriting back into a pdf behind the image as live searchable text.
